Blueberries be gone!

Even though he likes fruit, and eats blueberry muffins all the time, and loves pancakes, he does not like blueberries.

Therefore, each and every blueberry was removed from the pancake before it could be eaten.

Thank you Spike.

San Antonio or Bust!

It's really easy to forget how young Spike is because he says so much to you and has so much to say. However, he is only 2 1/2 years old and is constantly stopping to pick up little things, like rocks!

Here is Spike showing Rik his rock.

He brought it all the way home.

Here is that classic family picture, posed nicely right in front of The Alamo.

This is The Tower of the Americas. We didn't know it was closed until we got there.

Cheesy photo op!

There was a giant plaster T-Rex right outside of the Cascade Caverns that the boys ran right over to.

Spike found a stick while playing here that also made the trip home. He was laying down in the van almost asleep when Rik and I hear a squeaky voice say "Where's my stick?"

There really is only one Spike.

MONSTER FARM

We were having a good time as we drove home tonight...singing songs, talking, doing that quality family-time thing.

Singing "Old MacDonald", we were taking turns calling out which animal to do in each verse...

We went through the usuals...horse, dog, cow, duck, etc.

Then it was Spike's turn to pick...he picked King Kong, The Hulk and The Thing.
